Job Summary

Our client is looking for an energetic and results-driven Sales Representative to join our team. Your primary responsibility will be to promote and sell high-speed internet services to businesses within Nairobi’s Central Business District (CBD), through direct engagement and door-to-door visits to offices located in buildings that are already fiber-ready. You will also identify new commercial buildings for potential fiber connectivity opportunities.

Key Responsibilities



  • Conduct door-to-door visits to offices in fiber-ready buildings to pitch and sell internet packages.

  • Promote and sell the company’s internet solutions including broadband and dedicated fiber connections.

  • Identify and document commercial buildings not yet connected, engaging landlords or property managers for future fiber rollout.

  • Build and maintain a customer pipeline by actively prospecting, following up on leads, and closing sales.

  • Provide tailored product presentations, proposals, and quotations based on client needs.

  • Offer after-sales support and maintain strong client relationships to encourage retention and referrals.

  • Gather market intelligence, including competitor activity and customer feedback.

  • Submit weekly sales reports and updates on new building identification activities.


Qualifications and Experience



  • Diploma or Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, IT, or a related field.

  • At least 2 years of experience in field sales, preferably in telecom, ICT, or related sectors.

  • Strong understanding of internet services (broadband, fiber, dedicated internet) is an advantage.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Self-driven , able to work independently to meet targets, resilient go getter mindset with the ability to find new ways to attract and convert customers 

  • Familiarity with Nairobi CBD and commercial real estate landscape is highly desirable.


Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)



  • Number of new customer subscriptions per month.

  • Number of buildings visited and leads generated.

  • Conversion rate of sales pitches to closed deals.
